Co-Curricular Activities

Co-curricular activities

There are lots of additional ways to practice your Russian and learn more about Russia on campus and around Bloomington! Each week, you can find a new, fun way to engage in the Russian language and culture. Check out one of these regularly occurring opportunities offered by our partners.

And much, much more

The IU Russian Flagship also offers student-centered events like weekly study groups, game nights, monthly film screenings, mini-lectures, and special holiday events like Old New Year’s and Maslenitsa. IU Russian Flagship students can also attend events hosted by our sister Flagships across the US as well as special Flagship events offered by NSEP, IIE, and American Councils. Each week, students receive a bulletin listing all upcoming events and deadlines so they never miss out on co-curricular and extra-curricular opportunities.
