Russian Flagship students in good standing are eligible to receive up to $5,000 in Flagship Student Support to help defer the cost of approved domestic summer study programs.
The Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships are funded by the United States Department of Education in support of students studying less commonly taught languages and cultures. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Summer FLAS awards include a $3,500 stipend plus a tuition award for the cost of language program (up to $5,000).
The IU Language Workshop offers two merit based scholarships to study Russian at the summer Workshop.
