Contracted ROTC cadets in good standing are eligible to receive Flagship scholarships that cover all costs associated with participating in the Russian Flagship:

Both the Army ROTC and Air Force ROTC offer academic year scholarships to support ROTC students studying Russian in The Language Flagship. Sponsored by the National Security Education Program at the U.S. Department of Defense, the ROTC Flagship Initiative seeks to address strategic language and cultural needs for future U.S. military officers by increasing the number of ROTC students achieving professional-level proficiency in languages critical to national security.
ROTC-Project Global Officer
Project Global Officer (Project GO) is a special language initiative for ROTC students aimed at improving the language skills, regional expertise, and intercultural communication skills of future military officers. Project GO scholarships can be used to study Russian at intensive domestic programs or for study abroad programs. Any ROTC student participating in Flagship is eligible for Project GO scholarship support.
